Off-Grid Radio — Experimental

Connect a compatible Meshtastic radio to exchange messages without cellular service. A radio is required; this page does not connect to hardware or transmit SOS messages yet.

Not an emergency dispatch service. Messages are not guaranteed to arrive, and this feature does not contact 911. For immediate danger use available emergency services or a dedicated satellite SOS device.

1. Connect a radio

On Android, open the official Meshtastic web client in Chrome. Pair a compatible radio using Bluetooth, then use its messaging interface.

2. Prepare a location message

Location is requested only when you tap the button. Review your coordinates before sharing them with radio users.

Paste the message into the Meshtastic client after connecting. Copying does not send or broadcast anything.

Connection limitations

Bluetooth requires a compatible device and browser. Web Bluetooth may not work inside an installed home-screen app; try Chrome directly. This is an early compatibility workflow, not integrated radio control.
